The District Council #3 Painters and Allied Trades Training Fund was established to provide a quality level of education and training to our membership. We offer Apprenticeship classes to teach our trades to new members who want to learn a skilled craft. Our Apprentices learn their specific trade through on the job paid training, classroom curriculum, Health & Safety training classes and various charity works. Upon completion of our Apprenticeship Program, a new Journeyperson earns 30 college credit hours towards an Associates Degree of Applied Science. With dedication and hard work an Apprentice will have the ability to succeed in theirchosen profession. We have an extensive Safety Program designed to protect and educate our members on all safety procedures applicable to their work environment. The safety of our membership is always our first priority. We also offer Journeyperson Enhancement Classes that are an integral part of today's workforce, offering extra training when needed for higher levels of productivity and craftsmanship, aimed to help our Contractors compete in this ever changing industry.
